In the USA our videos are very popular, because they contain all that Shotokan once was - a powerful self defense style karate, combined with a dignity and respect that is sadly lacking today.

Old but gold. this was my personal opinion of karate in the Olympics - and I believe no one could argue that the event was a 'non event' as far as karate was concerned. It made the art look like a joke - but - that's just my opinion.

There is little that needs adding - the name tells everything we need to know. Watch this clip from the 60 minute program - karate at a level we will never see agin.

'The Ultimate Aim' - much quoted but often little understood. Is competition success your only aim, if so the that is clearly your 'ultimate aim' and very limited. However, for most of us that's what gets us interested - but those that stick with it reap the benefits as the years go by.

Described as a pocket destroyer - Gary's speed and brilliant technical ability more than made up for his size. He was also a many times kata champion, and a first class ambassador for the KUGB.

The older clips seem almost tame, but these were the foundation of our art.
